A Whole “New” Experience

Open Mic with a Christian Twist

God’s Miracle Church offers many activities and resources beyond weekly worship services. One of the newest attractions, an Open Mic with a Christian Twist called “The Experience”,  allows an opportunity to express spoken word poetry and even learn how to perform better at this venue.

“The show in general is an open mic and a poetry slam,” said Janice, creator of the event.

The Experience is an intimate worship displaying talents of Christ within the young adult community. This event is a worship experience that includes Christian poetry, liturgical dance, dramatic presentation, visual arts, and musical selections from Christian Artists.

“It is a phenomenal thing,” said an audience member.

The Experience event is every third Sunday of the month from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Doors open at 6 p.m.).

Bands, Singer/Songwriters, Poets, Storytellers, and Artists are encouraged to come share their craft with the greater Richmond community area. The event will include professional staging and sound, as well as a live recording.

Our mission is to equip young adults with a deeper understanding of righteous living and encourage unity among peers.
