Do you treasure your Angels?

I know everyone answered yes

Well, listen to me a little longer

I’ll share with you a daily test

Do you listen to your elders

With your heart and not just your ears?

Do you hear what they are saying

With their knowledge and their tears?

Do you feel their experiences

From their voice and tones they share?

Do you listen cause you have to

Or do you listen cause you care?

I say, you should treasure them

With their stories and secret tales

Cause they have been through the fires,

All the storms and pointy nails

And because they are God’s Angels

Coming to the end of the test

You know all their stories are

Nothing but God’s best
